Diamondvale’s country cottages are fully self-contained and filled with all the little luxuries to make your stay enjoyable. Guests are treated to a stay of pure indulgence as breakfasts can be delivered, fully cooked, to your cottage each morning of your stay - please refer to our breakfast menu. Comfortable Queen sized beds, crisp linen, extravagant toiletries and a fully equipped kitchen all combine to make you feel right at home. All cottages have digital TV, VCR, DVD and CD players, a selection of books and a comfortable lounge to recline in. Guests are kept warm in winter with romantic log fires, not to mention electric blankets on their beds. In the warmer months, guests can retreat to their private balcony where they can unwind and watch the wildlife outside their cottage door.

Part of Diamondvale’s country accommodation experience also includes farm animals. There are 3 horses, a cow, hens, ducks and our faithful dog “Shadow” who are all used to much attention and enjoy being fussed over by their extended “family”. Guests are welcome to share feeding time with the animals and “Shadow” is a certainty to guide guests on their walk in to town along the “Heritage Trail”.

If you like a stroll, you must meander along the granite walking trail that winds its way along Quart Pot Creek, and through the town of Stanthorpe. 20 minutes walk from your accommodation lies the Visitor Information Centre with its wealth of information, gift shop and café you’d be crazy not to stay a while. The walk comes highly recommended from our guests who insist on encouraging all who stay to wander along the “Heritage Trail” even if just for a short while. The magical Granite boulders create a spectacular scene as they weave their way along the path that is Quart Pot Creek. In the wet season small waterfalls are created as water cascades over these giants.
